Dillon Harper Crave Fleshlight Review: Excellent for Edging?

The Dillon Harper Crave Fleshlight has one of the best texture ideas I have used. It alternates intense triangular ridges with a softer, pillowy middle chamber, then ramps up again deeper inside. That change of pace is what makes it an edging sleeve instead of just another intense one.

The short version: buy Crave if you want strong stimulation broken up by a softer control zone. Skip it if pointed textures sound uncomfortable or you cannot find it at a normal price. After around seven sessions it gets an 8/10 from me.

How I tested it

I bought Crave myself and have used it about seven times before writing this review. No free sample, no discount arrangement, no brand input.

I hunted one down at regular retail after reading about the alternating layout. That layout is the whole story here, so most of this review is about whether it delivers in use. It does.

Is Crave worth buying?

Yes, at a normal price.

FleshAssist’s owner reviews back up what I found: entry ribs lead into pointed triangular ridges, a softer bead-like chamber gives relief, and deeper spikes raise intensity again.¹ Owners disagree on exact intensity, but not on the alternating design, and after using it, I get why. The design is the product.

The official page spells the performer’s name “Dillion Harper,” while common editorial usage often says Dillon.² That small naming mess is worth knowing when you search shops or archives, it took me an extra try to find the listing.

What does the Crave texture feel like?

Alternating intensity, and the contrast is the point.

In use, the front gives you rings and then a grid of triangular ridges, firm, defined pressure rather than a gentle rub. Product renders make those shapes look like hard spikes, but in the sleeve they read as repeated ridges. Present, not sharp.

Then the middle chamber hits, and it does feel like a different material, soft, rounded pressure instead of points. Deeper in, the nodules and spikes bring intensity back. Short strokes keep you on the stronger front texture. Settling into the softer middle drops the stimulation without pulling out. That is the mechanic the whole sleeve is built around.

Is Crave good for edging?

Yes, this is the clearest reason to buy it, and it held up for me.

The soft middle chamber works as a built-in pause. When the front ridges get me too close, shifting deeper into the cushioned section drops intensity without stopping. That let me run noticeably longer sessions than I get from sleeves that never let up.

Several FleshAssist reviewers report the same thing independently, longer sessions, better control, one going far longer than usual.¹ Personal experience, not clinical proof, but the canal geometry explains it and my sessions matched it.

Is Crave too intense?

It can be in the triangular sections, especially early in a session.

The pointed ridges are the strongest part, and with the cap closed they get assertive. Soft SuperSkin blunts the edges compared to how the cutaway looks, but this is still a texture you feel. I started with the cap open and generous water-based lube, and that was the right call.

If the front ridges feel like too much at first, the fix is built in: shorter strokes, or rest in the softer middle zone. You rarely get a sleeve where the escape hatch is part of the design.

Does length change the experience?

Yes, but less than the dramatic cutaway suggests.

The front half already contains the main contrast, entrance ribs, the ridge grid, the soft chamber. The deeper spike section is a bonus for longer users, not the only worthwhile part. I do not always reach the final aggressive section and the sleeve still works, which matches what shorter users on FleshAssist report too.¹

How much lube does Crave need?

Water-based, a normal amount, and it holds lube better than most.

Fleshlight recommends water-based lubricant with SuperSkin.³ On long sessions I needed fewer top-ups than expected; the ridged front and pocketed middle seem to hold lube in place. If the triangular texture starts to disappear, that is usually too much lube rather than too little.

What does the suction cap change?

It compresses the softer middle chamber especially well.

With the cap fully closed, the rounded middle forms press noticeably firmer, the mellow section stops being mellow. I keep it mostly open so the soft/hard contrast stays intact. Crave already has big internal changes; suction should tune them, not flatten everything into one hard squeeze.

How annoying is cleaning?

More involved than a plain ribbed sleeve.

The triangular grids, rounded chamber and deeper spikes create places where residue sits. I rinse in both directions and check the deep sections. Wash the case separately, and let the sleeve dry completely before reassembly, Fleshlight is explicit about that.³ Not the sleeve for someone who already cuts corners on drying.

Is Crave still available?

Check before building a buying decision around it.

The official performer URL is the primary source, but regional stock changes and Crave is an older texture that drifts in and out of listings.² I would not pay collector pricing because a review, mine included, says the texture is good. A normal sale is attractive. A large scarcity premium turns this into a different recommendation.

Who should buy Crave?

Buy it if you want an edging-focused sleeve with real contrast between sections. It is especially good if you adjust depth and suction rather than running one speed from start to finish.

It also suits people who enjoy strong texture but need relief built into the canal. The softer middle is not filler. It is what makes the aggressive sections manageable.

Who should skip it?

Skip it if pointed ridges are a known problem for you. Even soft material can become too much with low lube or high suction.

Skip it as well if only overpriced old stock is available. Texture quality does not cancel bad value.

My verdict: does Crave deserve more attention?

Yes, and using it convinced me more than the reviews did.

Crave gives you a strong front section, a useful low-intensity chamber and more texture deeper inside, and the parts work together instead of just being listed on a cutaway. 8/10, recommended, as long as you pay a normal price and do not mind a slightly fussier cleanup.
