Gal Ritchie Taking The Tube Fleshlight Review: Too Tight?

Taking The Tube looks excellent if your idea of excellent is tight, angular and a bit unforgiving. Early owners rate it extremely highly. They also keep mentioning the tiny entrance, heavy lube use and aggressive contact. Believe both parts.

I have not tested this sleeve. This verdict comes from FleshAssist’s diagram and three owner reviews, the official launch information, and current retailer specifications.

Is Taking The Tube worth buying?

Yes, if intensity is the brief. FleshAssist listed it at 4.60 overall from 15 ratings when checked, and its three written reviews were remarkably consistent about tightness and stimulation.¹

The sample is small, so I would not pretend this is settled. Still, these are specific reports from owners with different collections, not three copies of the product description. They describe a narrow opening, repeating chambers, pointed nubs and firm internal angles.

At $79.95 or €79.95, it is not a casual experiment.² I would buy it when discounted unless you already know that rough anal sleeves are your category.

What does the texture do?

The canal repeats a pattern of open chambers, protruding points and tighter beaded sections. One experienced owner said the open areas let the pointed texture contact the head, then the constriction holds the shaft before the pattern begins again.¹

Repeating textures can be dull. This one seems to avoid that because the chamber, constriction and angle change what is touching you at the same time. Another reviewer who normally prefers rough anal sleeves put it among his top choices and rated it 8.5/10.¹

That does not make it realistic. FleshAssist’s own overview calls it smooth and lifelike, but the owner descriptions sound much more mechanical. I trust the owners on that point.

How tight is it?

Very tight, based on all available reports. The entrance gets mentioned first because it is visibly and physically small. The internal canal then keeps pressure on rather than opening into a relaxed deep chamber.¹

Fit is personal. A high tightness score from one owner can mean excellent grip; for another it means discomfort or numbness. Taking The Tube is a poor blind recommendation for larger girth or anyone whose current Fleshlight already feels restrictive.

Use enough water-based lube and stop if the entrance feels painful. A product ranking is not a challenge.

Does it need more lube?

Probably. The strongest detailed review explicitly mentions heavier lube use, and the combined FleshAssist scores also point in that direction.¹

That makes sense for a narrow canal with repeated contact points. Start generously at the entrance, spread some inside the first section and add more if movement starts to drag. More lube can soften fine texture, but too little in a sleeve this tight is the worse trade.

Is it good for edging?

Only if you already have decent control. The repeated pattern may stay interesting over longer strokes, but owners describe it as active from entry to depth. This is not the relaxed sleeve I would pick to learn edging.

Taking The Tube seems better for buyers who want intensity they can modulate with speed and cap position. Loosen the suction cap and slow down before blaming the sleeve for being too much.

What about cleaning and drying?

The owner scores for cleanup were positive, though one report gave drying a more ordinary score.¹ I would still treat the sharp transitions and constrictions carefully. Rinse from both ends, flex the sleeve gently under warm water and give it open air.

The standard case gives you adjustable suction and a good grip. It also means the sleeve has to come out after use. There is no shortcut worth taking here.

Who should buy it?

Experienced Fleshlight users who already enjoy rough anal models are the obvious audience. Gal Ritchie fans also get an anatomy-based anal mold; Fleshlight announced her as a Fleshlight Girl in November 2025 and described the line as molded from her anatomy.³

It may also suit someone disappointed by loose recent releases. The reviews leave little doubt that grip is present.

Who should skip it?

Skip Taking The Tube if you want softness, low lube use or a forgiving first Fleshlight. Also skip it if product descriptions saying “intense” usually make you nervous. This one has evidence behind the word.

Buyers who value realism should be cautious too. The canal sounds engineered and repetitive, not anatomically subtle.

My verdict

Taking The Tube has one of the clearest recommendations in this batch. It is tight and heavily textured. Owners who want that seem thrilled with it.

The limitation is not a hidden flaw. It is the same feature. Tight, pointed and repetitive can become tiring fast if your preferences run mild. At a sale price, this looks like an excellent specialist sleeve. At full price, know your taste first.
